Warning signs to look for
It can be difficult as a parent to know what to look for since you aren't in the classroom with your student. It is important to build a relationship with your child's teacher so you can work together as a team. Check in regularly with the teacher and ask what signs they are seeing in your student. Teachers are not able to make any sort of diagnosis; you must get that from a psychiatrist. Decoding Dyslexia encourages you to be aware of these potential indicators of dyslexia.
